Special guest appearance (narration, testimonials) |
Outline: |
A documentary about the life of singer-songwriter Ted Hawkins, inluding rare |
live performances and interviews. His enduring strength came from the simple |
truths and pure emotions that were foremost in everything he created. Armed |
with an acoustic guitar he spent much of his career performing on the streets. |
He released six solo albums during his lifetime, the last of which was the |
acclaimed major label debut entitled The Next Hundred Years. After 30 |
years of busking and hard times, he was finally on the verge of commercial |
success. And then, as Thom Jurek (Detroit Metro Times) described the |
events, "as suddenly as he seemingly appeared, he went away. Just after |
Christmas of 1994, as the fanfare and fame were beginning to approach like a |
freight train, Ted died from a stroke." |

his dreams may come true. Jack climbs the beanstalk and discovers riches |
